We’ve become increasingly dependent on our smartphones and tablets to keep our lives in order.  When it comes to getting the most out of Ariba LIVE Munich, downloading our Ariba LIVE mobile app will really help keep your time organized, capture the new knowledge you’ve been exposed to, share your insights via social media, and see what others are saying. 

Manage your Schedule
From a time management perspective, the app lets you build your schedule, based on industry, solution, or track, to make sure you’re right where you want to be.  You can access the full schedule of events, along with speaker bios, to find the best sessions for your interests.


Stay on top of Social Media

The app is also a great tool to find and network with people 1:1. With the attendee directory, you can search by attendee name or company name to locate people you’d like to connect with during the event.  You can send them messages or invite them to meet, with the ability to add the meetings directly to your calendar, so you’re not having to keep track of your time separately.  The social media tab acts as a mission control center to connect to the Ariba Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn feeds, along with our user communities, Ariba Exchange and the SAP Community Network. You can see what people are saying and share your thoughts using the hashtag - #AribaLIVE.  You can even upload pictures you take to share with others and there will be plenty of opportunities at The Westin Grand Munich for the perfect photo opp. 

Capture Knowledge
You’ll also have access to information at your fingertips, including breakout presentations you can review prior to arriving, to see what sessions are most interesting and save to your briefcase for quick reference after the event.  There’s even electronic documentation from Commerce Pavilion kiosks that you can easily access when you’re back in the office, without having to carry loads of paper home.  You can also use the app to capture notes, if you hear something important during a presentation or while you’re connecting with someone new.  Just capture it in the app and you can even email it to yourself, so it’s filed away where you can easily find it. 


Play to Win
To encourage attendees to fully engage with the mobile app, we’ve created a Play to Win game that gives you points for using the mobile app.  Earn points for tweeting, creating your agenda, visiting Ariba booths in the Commerce Pavilion, answering surveys, and more. The top scorer on the leaderboard at the end of the event will win an iPad Mini.


The app is currently available, so be sure to visit our mobile app tab to download the app and user guide (user guide is also attached here for your convenience). Please note that you must register for Ariba LIVE to get your username and password to use the app.  Get a head start on planning and networking today!
