Shena oversees all supplier-facing ecommerce activities for RockTenn, one of North America’s leading producers of corrugated and consumer packaging and recycling solutions and a leading buyer on the Ariba Network. In this capacity Shena has been a driving force behind RockTenn’s supplier enablement activities, catalog administration and electronic invoicing initiative. She has helped move them from one-off projects into carefully designed, planned and executed programs that are now included as a full-time function at RockTenn to drive collaborative buying.
As part of her eProcurement Manager responsibilities, Shena has helped promote the strategic importance of supplier enablement at RockTenn by continually analyzing their supply base to select the best suppliers for enablement and those with the highest value to RockTenn. Shena aims to enhance the procure-to-pay process through user training, process improvements, technology enhancements, and reduced paper handling.
Shena joined RockTenn in 2010. Prior to RockTenn, Shena worked for 13 years in the semiconductor industry with Intel Corporation. She was responsible for the introduction of new products, operation process controls and equipment optimization. Shena holds an MBA in Finance, and has degrees in Management and Electronics from Colorado Technical University. In her free time, Shena enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafts and is currently writing her first book.
