We are pleased to announce that the deployment of Ariba On-Demand Release 12s1 is planned for August 4, 2012. This release continues to deliver on the vision of the Ariba Business Commerce Network and is planned to include key enhancements to help drive:

  • Reliable and timely supplier information and intelligence
  • Easier supplier discovery
  • Enhanced integration capabilities
  • Enhanced usability through improved participant grading and scoring

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to become more familiar with these features so that you can further extend the benefits of your Ariba solutions. Ariba will continue to update this portal with information leading up to the general availability of this release.


Additionally, with this release, Ariba is introducing the Seller Collaboration Console, allowing sellers to centrally manage their user accounts and company profile (Ariba Cloud Profile) across all Ariba seller-facing solutions and to easily navigate between the Ariba solutions.  Recently Ariba provided you with the 12s1 Buyer Toolkit to help you answer any questions your sellers may have about this release.  The 12s1 Buyer Toolkit is also available on the Early Access tab on Ariba Connect.

We currently expect to begin the upgrade to Release 12s1 at 8:00am US Pacific Time on Saturday, August 4, 2012*. All Ariba On-Demand solutions will not be available while the upgrade is implemented worldwide.

  • You do not have to do anything to request or accept the upgrade.
  • Your data, system configuration, and personalization will not be affected.
