Question: In search options we have Title, owner, Contract ID, Supplier, Expiration Date, and Process state now can we also have 'Effective date' added here in search results...
Answer: By clicking on Search Options you are able to select or deselect the fields that you can search on. If you do not see the field in the drop down list click on Others to see the full list.
Question: Is it possible to change the column headers in the search results? In search results we get Title, owner, Contract ID, Supplier, Expiration Date, and Process state. Is it possible to have 'Effective date' too in search results.
Answer: Clicking on the table options menu icon will allow you to select which columns appear in the search results. Not all fields are able to be added to search results. You will notice that more fields are available as search options than results.
Question: Are you covering user access permissions in this or next week's webinar?
Answer: During the webinar I referenced the Group Description Matrix Excel spreadsheet which is available from the Administration tab under Help > Product Documentation. This matrix lists the Ariba system groups along with the associated permissions. It also indicates if someone added to each group is considered a team member or user.
Question: Does creating a Sub Agreement create a totally separate, new contract workspace? Do the Overview Attributes, Contract Attributes, and Term Attributes copy over to the new workspace?
Answer: It does create a new / separate workspace. Many of the header fields will be prepopulated based on the master agreement when you create a sub agreement from within the master, but you have the ability to change the fields as needed in the sub agreement.
