Question: For the delegation does the person have to already be a team member to be able to "own" the event

Answer: No, if you delegate your authority via preferences you are giving the other user your access to all projects so that they can act on your behalf while you are away.

 

Question: If you close a workspace..can you re-open it?

Answer: Yes, you can amend the workspace to renew and reopen if needed.

 

Question: As in the Ariba eSourcing tool, can the suppliers have access to the contract module during negotiation to reduce the amount of emails?

Answer: Yes, you can add suppliers to the negotiation task as either email reviewers or using their supplier user account.  If you add their user as the reviewer they can review and update the document in the system instead of via email.

 

Question: On the menu that I see when creating a contract workspace, there is a "Bulk Load Template" option, can this be used to skip the tasks?

Answer: This is most likely an empty template (no tasks) that was used to complete a repository bulk load.  You may use this template, but should test first to see if it is acceptable.  I would discuss with your template administrators to confirm that this is the best option as the tasks in your primary template were probably created to ensure the process is followed.  Your organization may also create a separate template to use with a shorter process.
