Jewelry seemed to be the most popular items of the week with buyer postings for silver plated jewelry, fine body jewelry, imitation jewelry, costume jewelry, super hero comic jewelry, and contemporary jewelry. In addition to these posts, there were also some intriguing buyer requirements posted as well. Read on to see this week’s top 10 most interesting posts. 10. Dog food – The owner of a pet store in Puerto Rico is in need of a dog food supplier. The buyer is not particular about the flavors but needs a variety of brands. Both wet and dry food are needed. The dry food should come in 30 pound bags.



9. Bronze sculptures – The owner of an online boutique based in California is looking for a supplier of bronze statues for resale. The buyer is specifically seeking table sized bronze sculptures, mounted on marble or granite bases. Licensed or authorized replicas of famous works preferred.



8. Jewish calendars – A gift shop manager in a Jewish Community Center in Texas is in need of a supplier of Jewish calendars. The buyer is specifically looking for the Jewish Engagement Calendar for 2014-15.  It is published by Universe Publishing. At the bottom of the front cover it says The Jewish Museum New York.



7. Molasses and brown sugar – The owner of a North Carolina BBQ sauce manufacturing company is in search of bulk molasses and brown sugar suppliers. The ingredients will be used in the buyers own recipe of BBQ sauce. The molasses should be Grandma’s brand.



6. Designer handbags – The owner of a small electronics and fashion online store based in Miami is pursuing a supplier of name brand wholesale handbags. Some of the preferred brands include Michael Kors, Guess, and Coach. All sizes, materials, and colors are needed. The buyer would like a variety of styles from small clutches to larger shoulder bags.



5. Lavender – A small business owner in Pennsylvania is searching for a supplier of dried flowers. The buyer is specifically looking for dried pressed lavender buds which will be used to fill pillows. This buyer is looking for smaller quantities at this time, about 10 pounds.



4. Dried tofu – A United Kingdom based company is looking for a supplier of freeze dried tofu. The tofu will be included in their prepackaged soup mixes. The tofu should be about ¼” cubed with 4% maximum moisture. Additional specifications are included in an attachment within the posting.



3. Nickel ore – A marketing company in Spain is researching Chinese and African supplier of nickel ore for one of their clients for a potential new business opportunity. These Chinese and African distributors must be able to ship to Europe. The buyer has very specific capabilities that must be met by the distributor.

2. Christmas trees – The owner of a small Christmas store in South Dakota is in search of a Christmas tree supplier. The buyer needs multiple types of trees including Spruce, Fir, and Pine. Both flocked and unflocked trees are needed. Trees should range anywhere from 3 feet to 8 feet tall.



1. Radiation safety garments – A large University in Ohio is looking for a supplier of radiation safety garments. The radiation safety garments must come from identified manufacturers (not distributors or resellers) for the establishment of a standardization program. This is a public sector posting.
