Question: If we provide Estimated Award Date, will supplier come to know or is this information is just for the Buyer?
Answer: This information will be displayed to the Supplier.
Question: Are the templates standard or can they be specific for each customer?
Answer: Sourcing Pro allows for customization of the templates, Sourcing Basic does not.
Question: Is there a way to filter the suppliers that can respond to discovery?
Answer: Using the Commodity, Location, Amount Range, you can narrow down what you are looking for for your project.
Question: How do we insert information from an Excel spreadsheet as part of the content rather than as an attachment?
Answer: By using the Import Excel feature. You have to use the Ariba Excel template in order to import the information back in.
Question: What happened if we want to add a Vendor who is not in the supplier base?
Answer: Go through the steps of "Create New Participant" via the event, OR if you have the appropriate permissions, go into Administration and create the new supplier company and contacts from there.
