Question: If you initially select full project, are you able to go back and change the project to quick project?

Answer: No, you cannot change the project type after you create a project.  This would require a change to the template, which you also cannot change after project creation.

 

Question: Do we create a user name for a new supplier?

Answer: Yes, when you create a new supplier you will need to provide the username.  I recommend using the contacts email address in lowercase letters.  Usernames must be unique and are case sensitive.  Your company may determine a standard format for usernames.

 

Question: Can we remove formating for specific sentences or will it remove all formating within the entire box?

Answer: When using the formatting eraser it will remove all formatting from the entire box even if you have selected a specific set of words.  The other formatting options, such as bold and color allow you to select the text.  Due to this, it is best to remove formatting first then add in the desired formatting.

 

Question: Can we see the participant's view of an RFP after is has been published?

Answer: No, the view as participant option is only available in the draft status.  With any event, I recommend creating an internal test project prior to publishing the live event.  This allows you to participate as a supplier and ensure the event is set up correctly.  If you have done this, you can also use the view from this event as a reference.  If your intention is to be able to help suppliers with their questions, remember that they can also contact Ariba customer support for assistance.
