Question: Can you explain the difference between the template and the sourcing library?

Answer: In the Sourcing Pro application RFI, RFP and Auction Templates will enable you to pre-configure not only the 'Content' section of an event but also the Rules, Team Member and Supplier Sections. One thing you cannot do on an Event Template is preconfigure different Lots/Line Items. You can set up a base Lot/Line Item structure that will apply to all Line Items/Lot created in an event using that template, but not for a list of Lots or Items. This is where the Content Document in the Sourcing Library comes in handy as it will allow storage of pre-configured Content including Lots/Line items for Sourcing Basic and Sourcing Pro users. The Lot/Line Item structure will be the 'Out of the Box' configuration for Sourcing Basic users.

Question: You can't put content in templates?

Answer: It is not possible to add content directly to a Sourcing Project template. You would need to add the content to the RFP Template, that can then be added as a Document Choice to a Sourcing Project Template.

Question: Is there a way to pull a report to find the list of Supplier Users and Organizations created in Ariba?

Answer: Yes, you can. This can be done via the import/export feature in the Administration - Supplier Customer Manager. However only those with Supplier/Customer permissions are able to do this.
