    Manager Role - Leading projects and a global team of analysts:

    Cabot Corporation is hiring for a Purchasing Advancement Manager to lead best practices on processes and tools pertaining to purchasing for all Cabot locations.  This role manages a team of direct and matrixed analysts to provide resources and advice to the worldwide Global Purchasing organization.  Key areas of focus are on developing tools and processes to ensure compliance to internal controls, diffusion of best practices, alignment with corporate initiatives and coordination with other global functions and businesses.  Cabot Purchasing is a centrally managed purchasing organization running One Global ERP and is implementing Ariba globally as its eProcurement Management Suite for Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management and Order Management.


    Analyst Role:

    The Global Purchasing Advancement Analyst manages and supports sourcing & supplier management as well as supporting tools used for spend analysis, scorecard and KPI management for all Cabot locations worldwide.  The Analyst represents Purchasing on IT Projects to ensure the purchasing group’s technical requirements are met and training from IT is effectively brought to the purchasing team members for our centralized ERP.  They are also a key resource for support, information and training for the purchasing organization to ensure the efficient and effective use of the available systems and tools globally.
