    Analysis data access

    Brian Griffin Newbie
Are there any tips on controlling access to analysis data such that there are limits to what someone can see from the entire data base. An example would be to limit some users to certain cost centers or groups of cost centers. We are on the CD version.

There are some version considerations, but this is absolutely possible.  Analysis Data Access Control Rules can be used to control basic access to data.  For additional flexibility custom java code can be used to control data visibility.  Both approaches are detailed in the Analysis Customization Guide found on Connect.
