    Peer Benchmarking

    David Heller Expert

Hewlett Packard is looking to talk to other companies to discuss the solutions you are using for spend management and how you evaluate your success. Here is a sketch of an outline of the conversation we would like to have over about a 2 hour call. HP will share our story for each of these areas making the time valuable for both companies. If you are interested please contact me at david.heller@hp.com

      Business Scenario:

As part of our three year planning process HP Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) is seeking to identify where our current penetration into supply chain system and process solutions is at in comparison to other peer companies with similar distribution and scale of indirect / services spend to manage.

      Objective:

Our purpose in conducting this peer discovery session is to help us determine where we are on our strategic roadmap as compared to other peer organizations. We are seeking to determine where we are currently at parity or lagging in either system investments or process development that would validate or refine our current strategic POR.

Topics: (What areas do we want to discuss)

      1. Contingent and Contract Labor management
      2. Spend Management portfolio -
        • what is measured and what is not
        • tying savings to P&L
        • end to end visibility
      3. Compliance
        • Supplier ASL management
        • T&E expense integration / compliance
      4. POR priorities
      5. What is on the roadmap
      6. Metrics and Measures -  How do you decide what goes on the roadmap
