      is anyone using the Contracts module (contract workspaces) to track activities that do not result in executed documents?

          Hello Dean....I am recently coming from the customer user side, and am now back with Ariba.  I'd like to share how we were using the Contract Management solution recently when on the customer side.  We used the concept of Task Notifications to help us with management of certificates of insurance.  We accomplished this by loading our COI's into document folders, setting the notifications and the appropriate owners and notification schedules.  We also used the task functionality to build in our contract management processes to help with continuing education for newer employees.  Hope this helps.
