    Invoicing against a contract workspace in "expired/closed" status

      I have a question pertaining being able to invoice against a contract workspace that is in "Expired/Closed" status.

      We have been told that you can invoice against a contract workspace that is in "Expired/Closed" status as long as the Invoice Date (in the Invoice Header information) and the Reference Date (in the Line Item Detail) falls between the Effective Date and Expiration Date of the contract workspace.

       

      Example:  I receive and invoice on June 15, 2011 for a contract worksapce that expired May 31, 2011 for the services provided between May 01 - May 31, 2011.  I should be able to process this invoice against this contract workspace as long as my Invioce Date and Reference Date is May 31, 2011 or before.

       

      For whatever reason, we are unable to do this.

       

      Has anyone one else had experience with this type of invoice payment situation?  Where you able to pay against the expired/closed contract workspace?

       

      Any thoughts/input would be greatly appreciated.
