You're looking to do this on the seller side of the Ariba Network, yes? I'm not aware of how to add version number to a report, perhaps somebody else knows, but I might have a workaround.
If you go to your Inbox and search for POs matching your criteria, you'll see there's a small grid icon at the top right of the table, it looks a bit like a spreadsheet. You can click that and select the option Export All Rows to create an Excel file of your search results. These search results do contain Version Number.
It's not exactly what you're looking for, but it might suffice.
Yes, we are a seller. Thank you for that information as I was not aware that I could export a spread sheet from there. Unfortunately, though it does show the version number, I also need the payload ID which this spread sheet does not include. Also, I need to search all POs for about two previous years. The query for the purchase orders will only accept 2 weeks at a time which will amount to quite a bit of work to go back 2 years.
