I am wondering. At one of my clients here I am looking at the Contract Workbench module and one thing is pretty strange, which is that if you set the contract type to "fixed" the expiration date does not automatically become a compulsory field to fill-out. Seems like, that under normal conditions you would expect this to be filled when there is a fixed term contract. Is there a way for us to make this change? or is this Ariba who needs to do this? A work-around is ofcourse for someone to fill this out in a mandatory task in the task overview. That is ofcourse always an option.

Unfortunately there is no way to set the expiration date as required only for fixed contract type. Support can change expiration date to be required however, that will make it always required.
