    Storing Insurance Policies in ACM

Curious to know if anyone has stored insurance policies within Ariba Contract Management.  Good idea, bad idea, pros or cons?  Thanks in advance.

          Hi Jeremy:

Thanks for posting your question. I reached out to the Best Practice Center team to see if there were any insights they could offer. One of the BPC team members will reply back to this thread, but there may be a bit of a delay since some members are out of the office.

In the meantime, I'll be interested to see if other community members offer their experiences here.

          Regards,

            Hi Jeremy:

Here's the feedback that Sharon with our BPC team offered:

Many customers track and store insurance policies. Some store it on the contract workspace, some store it on the supplier record (the SPQ).  If the customer has SIPM, they have more options.  Some customers have a field for the expiration and launch a notify task for yearly reminders to get new certificates loaded.

I hope you find this information helpful.
