      GENERAL SUMMARY: The Sears Holdings Procurement organization is committed to delivering its enterprise clients the right solution, on time, and at the best value by utilizing the highest ethical sourcing strategies.  In support of that vision Sears Holdings Procurement kicked-off the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) initiative to transform various business processes in the "Procure to Pay" space to simplify and automate P2P processes to reduce costs, standardize procurement & payment processes, improve procurement lead times, and improve payment cycle times to take advantage of discounts

      The Procurement Analyst II - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) will provide project management support of this corporate procurement P2P transformation initiative.  The Procurement Analyst II will work closely with members of Procurement, Finance, IT and other resources affected by the P2P system.

      Successful delivery of this project will include delivery of configured P2P solution, user training, change management, and risk mitigation.



      • Provide day-to-day project management an execution against the approach
      • Utilize basic knowledge of P2P business processes
      • Responsible for developing and adhering to detailed project plans and budgets
      • Must have developed, supervised, and measured project work effort on the following dimensions: scope, quality, time, cost, resources, communication, issues, risk mitigation, procurement, and integration
      • Facilitate discussions and workshops to elicit requirements using approved business analysis techniques (interviews, document analysis, working sessions, documented business processes, and system analysis)
      • Communicate across all levels and keep appropriate parties informed of activity progress and challenges
      • Creates analytical models, in excel and access, to analyze and interpret data
      • Develops business case estimates, as well as review of business case summaries in order to drive rational decision making
      • Proactively build relationships with project stakeholders to clarify needs and expectations
      • Supports improvements to enterprise business analyst methodology and tool
      • Acts as a point of escalation for problems and issues
      • Strong Project Management and problem solving skills required.
      • Business Process Management including flow diagrams and documentation
      • Business acumen is required to work effectively across SHC and to provide guidance to Procurement Organization when needed
      • Ability to break down complex issues into analyzable segments and organize the collection, interpretation and solution structure to drive business action
      • Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
      • Accurate in quality of work and detail-oriented
      • 3-5 years of experience of project management experience, preferably in enterprise systems implementation
      • Demonstrates strong team building skills and a hands on mentality
      • Results oriented, high sense of urgency.
      • Organizational skills and time management
      • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
      • Experience communicating at all levels from technical analyst to executive business
      • Able to facilitate discussions among cross functional staff
      • Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles
      • Maturity to participate in an open give and take as analysis is discussed and honed
      • Ability to influence
      • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
      • Manages the process of innovative change
      • Trains other innovators through both formal and informal training programs
      • MBA is preferred
      • PMP and/or Six Sigma certification a plus
      • Experience in Ariba, Oracle/PeopleSoft or other ERP a plus
      • MS Project or Project management tools - Intermediate
      • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio
